ST AUGUSTINE, Florida (March 15, 2024)  – St Augustine Sailing is excited to announce the inaugural Ladybug Race Event, scheduled for April 28, 2024.  This event, title “Ladybug Race Event” is not just a race; it’s a community-driven initiative aimed at supporting the Women On the Water (WOW!)  program.  While the event is organized in support of women in sailing, it is open to all regardless of gender.

The Ladybug Race Event promises an exhilarating day filled with activities for sailors and sailing enthusiasts alike. Taking place at St. Augustine Sailing, the event will feature a Mini Boat Show showcasing Jeanneau Sun Odyssey models ranging from 35’ to 44’ along with a Lagoon 40. For those seeking hands-on experience, an Intro to Sailing course will be offered at multiple times during the day. The highlight of the event, the Ladybug Race, will feature both performance and cruiser class racing, with a special category for All Female Crew competing for the Ladybug Trophy.
