Maddox Named Professional Certified Coach® by the International Coaching Federation

Ayn E. Maddox, Executive Coach/Consultant, Harmony Coaching & Consulting of Memphis, TN, recently received the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Formerly designated as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation, Maddox strengthens her commitment to her clients’ success by working to achieve this next level designation from her industry’s largest and most well-respected international governing body.

Respondents to a 2023 survey commissioned by ICF and HCI demonstrated that organizational leaders view a coaching culture as a potentially significant benefit for dealing with staff stress, burnout, and other emotional difficulties. The study revealed that organizations are more committed to fostering a coaching culture than ever before, and more professionals have access to coaching in all its modalities. “At a time when so many are struggling with fatigue, physical and mental, new approaches to work/life balance in a hybrid environment, and different ways of engaging, coaching cultures support a shift toward a more connected and responsive environment where resilience, trust, and collaboration are fostered,” said ICF CEO Magdalena Nowicka Mook.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the world’s largest organization leading the global advancement of the coaching profession and fostering coaching’s role as an integral part of a thriving society. Founded in 1995, its 50,000-plus members located in more than 160 countries and territories work toward common goals of enhancing awareness of coaching and maintaining the integrity of the profession through lifelong learning and upholding the highest ethical standards. ICF empowers professional coaches, coaching clients, organizations, communities, and the world through coaching.
