Jacksonville Beach is getting a major dose of female empowerment this fall as the Super Girl Surf Festival returns November 8–9 — and this year’s lineup includes the debut of the Super Girl 5K Run.
The event invites runners of all levels to hit the sand for a professionally timed race that’s free for women to enter. Hydration stations, post-race snacks, and prizes for top finishers make it both competitive and community-driven. The open beach course weaves through the heart of the festival, giving participants a front-row view of live concerts and oceanfront action.
After crossing the finish line, runners can dive into the rest of the Super Girl Festival experience — from world-class women’s surfing and volleyball to soccer, skateboarding, cheer and dance showcases, fitness classes, mentorship panels, and the Festival Village packed with food vendors, giveaways, and autograph signings.
The Super Girl 5K Run embodies the festival’s mission: to celebrate confidence, strength, and community through sport and shared experience.
