Why did you choose your industry?I'm not sure if I chose this industry or if it chose me. It's one of those classic "right place at the right time" stories.
Who are your typical clients?Newlyweds purchasing their first home together. Couples relocating for new jobs. Families moving for different school districts or because they outgrew their starter home. Investors who want to fix and flip, or buy and hold. Sellers moving out of state to live near family. Seniors who are downsizing, or moving to a multigen home with their grown children or into independent living.
What do you like best about being in this industry?I love the people I get to meet and help. I get to be a small part of a big decision on a life journey.
What are common problems you see?Lack of education and lack of professionalism are two trends in this industry that infuriate me.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Find someone who has knowledge and experience to assist you in life's big decisions.
When is your busy season?Summer
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?I am now a referral source for buyers and sellers statewide.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?The Exchange Club Family Center: For 30 years, The Exchange Club Family Center of Northeast Florida has offered in-home Parent Aide services to at-risk families across Jacksonville’s First Coast to deter child abuse and strengthen families.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I like exploring and finding new things, going to trivia night, and spending time with my family.
