How long have you been in your industry?1 1/2 years
Why did you choose your industry?I started as a Uber driver trying to figure out a way to make extra money while I drive. I came across this idea and it wasn't in Jacksonville. I had to go to a city council meeting to talk to them to make sure it would adhere to the digital signage ordinance. They worked with me and now here I am.
Who are your typical clients?Local businesses, National brands, and Non-profits. Any business big or small.
What do you like best about being in this industry?I found something I like and took an interest in. It really fascinates me and I am now in school to get my associates degree in marketing.
What are common problems you see?Smaller businesses feel that social media is enough advertising, and they don't see the value in marketing beyond social media. I want to change that by making it affordable to these smaller businesses.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Social media works and is free but big companies spend millions on advertising because it works.
When is your busy season?Year round.
What keeps you up at night?Nothing I am exhausted from working all day.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?I advertise on my digital LED display every time I drive. I network on LinkedIn and advertise on my YouTube channel.
How involved are you in the community?I want to help non-profits by providing free advertising to promote their cause and help raise money with a QR code on their ad. People can donate while sitting in traffic or at a red light.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Ronald Mcdonald House charities
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?It's not easy but be patient. It's hard-to-get businesses to trust you early on but if you are persistent, it will pay off. just be honest,
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Filming and editing my videos for YouTube.
