How long have you been in your industry?18 years

Why did you choose your industry?I've spent my entire career in Product Development. 10 years ago I began borrowing the principles of Product Development and adapted them to People Development.

Who are your typical clients?Business owners who are struggling with consistent messaging, branding, clarity and appropriate strategy.

What do you like best about being in this industry?I love this industry because I get to see the client and/or their business transform over the course of my coaching.

What are common problems you see?Some of the most common problems I see; lack of focus, lack of clarity, lack of preparation, weak communication skills.

What advice/tips do you have for clients?The number 1 piece of advice I have for my clients is to take the time to truly understand their businesses and why they got underway in the first place.

When is your busy season?My business is non seasonal.

What keeps you up at night?Not an issue for me.

How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?I market myself via the social media apps with a keen focus on LinkedIn.

How involved are you in the community?For years I ran youth sports programs for the children in my community.

What is your favorite not for profit or charity?The Arbor Foundation - Tree planting.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?My number 1 piece of advice is to ask for or hire the help you need in order to professionally launch/manage your business. Entrepreneurship is great but it's not easy and there are things you just won't/can't know without consulting an expert.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?In my free time: 1. Playing the guitar 2. Working out. 3. Cooking
