About Edgerton Gear, Inc.Located in America's heartland, Edgerton Gear is a precision gear shop that combines old world craftsmanship with new world technology. Since 1962, Edgerton Gear has grown steadily, winning the loyalty of its customers by producing consistently high quality components, on schedule, and at competitive prices.
We specialize in smaller batch sizes of 100 pieces or less manufacturing a wide range of standard, custom, and reverse-engineered gears and sprockets to exact specifications. Our equipment can cut gears up to 60 inches in diameter and up to a 1.5 diametrical pitch.
What differentiates you from the competition?Most of our employees are Journeyman machinists where quality control takes place in process. We are also Employee Owned so there is a tremendous sense of pride, efficiency and innovation as the average age in our shop is around 32.
