Dr. Max Dudenkov is the Founder and Co-Owner of Choice PharmD, where he helps bridge the gap between diagnostic testing and clinical decision-making. With eight years of experience in pharmacy and four years leading Choice PharmD, Max specializes in infectious disease interpretation and antimicrobial stewardship, providing evidence-based guidance that improves patient outcomes nationwide.
Max began his career as a clinical pharmacist at a community hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. There, he collaborated closely with physicians, APRNs, and PAs to optimize medication regimens, monitor therapeutic drug levels, manage drug interactions and adverse effects, and guide antimicrobial selection. During his time in the hospital setting, he also helped pioneer key institutional initiatives, including the implementation of a controlled substance monitoring program to prevent diversion and the development of comprehensive workflows and policies for compounded sterile products.
After his hospital experience, Max co-founded Choice PharmD alongside infectious disease pharmacists and physicians. Together, they built a robust, evidence-based database for PCR infectious disease lab interpretation and treatment selection. Since launching in 2022, Choice PharmD has supported clinicians with laboratory interpretation and therapeutic guidance for more than 200,000 patients—and counting.
Max is deeply motivated by seeing patients recover and regain their health. He believes that while tools and treatments are often available, navigating healthcare can be complex. By applying his clinical expertise and practical insight, he helps providers overcome barriers and deliver optimized care that promotes healing, wellness, and longevity.
A first-generation American whose family immigrated from Ukraine seeking religious freedom, Max credits his upbringing for shaping his strong work ethic and tenacity. He brings creativity, clear communication, and a team-oriented mindset to everything he does.
Outside of his professional work, Max is actively involved in his local church in Jacksonville, where he leads the production department overseeing video, lighting, and media teams. He also uses his video production skills to serve small businesses and schools and participates in volunteer initiatives supporting local non-profits throughout the year.
Max holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with a concentration in Chemistry and Pharmacy. He is married, has one child, and is excited to be welcoming another soon.
