John W. Chappelear is a multi-award-winning author, consultant, and speaker with more than 45 years of experience as an executive and entrepreneur. Internationally recognized for his expertise in leadership, organizational culture, communication, employee engagement, and personal wellness, John helps individuals reduce stress while empowering organizations to build more positive, productive workplaces.
His award-winning book, “The Daily Six”, has become a global resource for individuals and organizations seeking practical strategies to improve mindset, performance, and well-being. The book received the USA BookNews Best Book Award and is available in English and Arabic, as well as in print, e-book, and audiobook formats worldwide. John has since authored three additional books: “People Come First: A Modern Leadership Model”, “Love Surrounds Us”, and “Forgiveness Connects Us: 20th Anniversary of The Daily Six.”
Before launching his consulting practice, John founded, built, and successfully sold five companies in the Washington, D.C., area. At age 30, he started his first business, The Stationers Inc., which doubled its sales and profits for five consecutive years. In 1986, he founded Corporate Interiors Inc., an office furniture and interior design firm. Together, these businesses grew from a team of just two employees to more than 250, generating annual sales exceeding $50 million within a little over a decade.
John’s commitment to leadership extends beyond business. In 1988, he received a Presidential Letter of Commendation from President Ronald Reagan in recognition of his dedication to improving the Washington, D.C., community.
Today, John resides in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife, Susan. Together, they enjoy spending time with their three children and five grandchildren.
