Douglas Anderson School of the Arts proudly announces its annual Extravaganza, themed “Reverie”, a celebration of dreamlike wonder and boundless creativity. Join us on Saturday, February 1st at Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts for a night that will transport you into realms of imagination, brought to life by Douglas Anderson’s finest young artists.

“Reverie” offers audiences a mesmerizing experience, with performances and exhibitions spanning dance, music, theatre, visual arts, film, and creative writing. Each piece is a unique musing inspired by dreams and reflections, inviting audiences to journey beyond the ordinary into the extraordinary visions of these talented students.

“This year’s theme, ‘Reverie,’ truly embodies the spirit of artistic exploration and imagination,” says Natalie Hyder, DA Arts Director and Producer for Extravaganza. “We invite the community to join us for a magical evening and experience the power of art to inspire and elevate through imagination and beauty.”

Guests can also enjoy the presentation of work by this year’s Shining Star, Dantiel Moniz, as well as opportunities to purchase her book, Milk Blood Heat. Moniz is a DA Creative Writing Alumni,
