On 5 Minute Salute, our host Chris Budihas talks to veterans making a difference in their communities. Today, Chris has the honor to speak with Mark Barglof of Kinetic Technologies LLC.

Kinetic Technologies is a provider of robotic manufacturing solutions. We work with a customer from concept, design, manufacture, installation training to annual service plans for robotic cells.

How do you define success?

Kinetic Technologies thrives on it’s four core values. I see success as the ability to stand firm on the companies convictions and produce sustainable profit.

Our four core values are the following; each one builds off of the first value –
Integrity beyond reproach – We live by a simple honor code; we will never lie, cheat or steal nor tolerate anyone that does.
Quality – We physically demonstrate integrity when we create a quality product. Quality work extends beyond product development into all aspects of our business.
Servant Leadership –Kinetic Technologies is only successful when we make others successful. We seek to improve the lives of our employees, vendors, customers, and our community through our actions.
Dream Big, Achieve Greatness – when we listen intently, serve each other, and do our business ethically we are free to boldly dream and achieve amazing goals.

How did you get started in your field or work?

I worked in automation product development in my last company. It gave me a foundation to think in an automated space. Kinetic Technologies started as an engineering services company and grew to become a robotic solutions provider because I saw a need in the manufacturing space for quality robotics solutions providers.

What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in your business?

It wasn’t one obstacle – the biggest challenge was jumping over obstacle after obstacle. To successfully start and get a company off the ground you must possess a disproportionate amount of grit. You need to be comfortable being constantly humbled and continue to find the strength to learn new things and accept failure.
