How do you define success?
I work on our military affairs team and I look at success based on how we’re helping veterans and military spouses inside and outside of Amazon.
How did you get started in your field or work?
I came to Amazon by way of a Hiring our Heroes Military fellowship and after 2.5 years of cloud computing work, found my way to our military affairs team.
What’s one thing we should know that makes your company unique?
We just met our commitment to hire 100,000 veterans and military spouses five months ahead of schedule.
What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in your business?
Continuously showcasing the business value and cost benefit of hiring veterans and military spouses.
