Short company description:

VetTech Homefront is a veteran-owned Ohio company building local-first AI: small home servers that keep a family’s data in their house, not in a data center. The goal is to put that, and the know-how to use it well, in reach of veterans, everyday people, and schools. Early stage and self-funded: everything gets built and proven in my own home first. Grounded in truth. No one left behind.

What’s one thing we should know that makes your company unique?

Everything runs local. The models, the voice, the automation all live on hardware in the house, and nothing depends on the cloud. Patent pending on the core work. I build in the open, and I’ve already built the training to hand the method to regular people and teachers. Getting it through the first school door is the next mission.

How do you define success?

A normal family walking into their living room where their own AI runs on a small server they own. Affordable, private, theirs. I call it the tactical mile, the last stretch between big technology and a regular person’s home. Success is closing it, and veterans getting there first, not last.

How did you get started in your field of work?

The Army made me a Cavalry Scout, and that job is ground truth: go see what’s real and report it straight. When I transitioned I went after computer science and started building at home. First a dashboard on the wall, then AI running entirely on local hardware. The business is me turning that build into something other people can own. Still early, still pre-revenue, and completely mine.
