Each week on “On a Mission” we talk to community leaders who are out to make a positive impact in the area. Today, our host Jack Sears talks with Ryan Clark of Code Ninjas Baymeadows.

Short company description:

Code Ninjas is the premier destination for children aged 7-14 to embark on an exciting journey into the world of coding. Through engaging gameplay and hands-on projects centered around building their favorite video games, our center offers a dynamic and accessible approach to learning programming skills. As the nation’s leading kids coding franchise, we pride ourselves on fostering an environment where children not only develop coding prowess but also enhance their math, logic, and problem-solving abilities. From earning white to black belts, kids experience a progression that instills confidence and ignites a passion for technology. With our core promise, “Kids have fun, parents see results,” emblazoned on our walls, we are dedicated to delivering an enriching experience that leaves both kids and parents eagerly anticipating their next visit.

How do you define success?

Overall, success for Code Coast Consulting and Code Ninjas is not only about financial growth but also about the positive influence we have on our community, the lives of children and families served, as well as its contribution to the advancement of technology education and preparation for the future.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?: Working directly with local schools (public, private, or homeschools) and find innovative and engaging ways to kids to experience new technology.

What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?

We would like to double our impact. I would like to be able to expand so that we can serve all areas of northeast Florida and provide opportunities so that we can help provide the skills for every member of our community to be a productive member of the community and help northeast Florida become a technology hub connecting the First Coast to the Space Coast!
