How do you stay ahead of changing consumer preferences?We offer several methods of achieving customer goals. We are constantly looking in and out of the industry to figure out new technologies to achieve customer goals better, faster, and cheaper.
What makes your brand stand out in a crowded market?We are family owned, we don’t bill extra for tough problems, and we focus on people – maintaining continuity with our technicians, always having a person answer the phones, and responding to all emails within a business day.
How are you incorporating sustainability into your products or services?We are on the front lines of managing invasive plants, weeds, and algae. As stewards of the environment, we always want to ensure that native plants have the opportunity to thrive and maintain the environment that makes America so unique and great.
What role does customer feedback play in your innovation process?Ultimately, we have to sell what customers will buy. If we have tools that can’t be used or sold for what we need to justify them, we move on.
How are you adapting to e-commerce and digital retail trends?We launched an online store this year and spend a TON of time on social videos – trying to highlight the quality of our team and the pride we take in our work.

What do you see as the biggest challenge facing your sector right now?Private equity has come in very aggressively – a lot of the founders are selling out, and you’re losing a lot of industry leadership and expertise in the space.
