Jacksonville, FL – June 10, 2025 – The City of Jacksonville’s Military Affairs and Veterans Department today announced Freedom Fest, a free community celebration to be held on July 3, 2026, at RiversEdge Park. Running from 3 PM to 10 PM, Freedom Fest kicks off Jacksonville’s tributes in advance of America’s 250th birthday and offers families an afternoon and evening honoring our nation’s history and the service of local veterans.
Freedom Fest will feature live entertainment, patriotic ceremonies, family-friendly activities, food vendors, and a grand fireworks display over the St. Johns River. Attendees of all ages are invited to stroll through resource booths hosted by veteran service organizations, enjoy lawn games on the green, and connect with Jacksonville’s military community. This event marks a key moment in the city’s lead-up to America’s 250th birthday, reflecting on past sacrifices and looking ahead to future generations.
