How are you using data or AI to improve health outcomes? Internally, Veritas is using AI to automate repetitive tasks and create an internal platform that supports each association’s team with the tools it needs to be effective.

What challenges are you facing post-pandemic? Veritas was ahead of the trend toward virtual meetings. So, while others were scrambling, our associations were equipped to continue to support their members. Today, the biggest threat post-pandemic is declining membership. Institutions need to invest in associations to provide the support and education practitioners need to practice medicine.

How do you ensure compassionate care across all departments? Veritas has a strong set of values, including being passionate contributors, relationship builders, humbly confident, flexible, and having fun. When these values are combined, compassion is an inevitable outcome.

What’s your outlook on the future of healthcare delivery? The associations and societies we support know that healthcare needs to become more accessible and more affordable. The industry is full of brilliant minds, and I have confidence that we will ultimately create a way to deliver healthcare fairly and affordably.
