What differentiates you from the competition?I bring a lifetime of service and leadership-from commanding ships to leading organizations. As a Jacksonville native, I am fulfilling my dream of returning to this marvelous city and investing directly in people to help them reach their potential.

What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?I combine real-world experience in the military, business, and education with total commitment to mentoring others. My focus is to help people build confidence, leadership skills, and a path to success by increasing self-awareness of their potential.

If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?Your potential is greater than you realize. I believe success begins when you choose to believe in yourself, take action, and pursue opportunities that can transform your future.

What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?My biggest challenge is increasing awareness of YOUNOW and helping people understand the long-term impact of mentorship, leadership development, and education on individuals and our community and how they collectively support success.

What is the core mission of your organization? YOUNOW, LLC advances educational achievement and personal growth by helping individuals recognize their potential, excel academically, and build pathways to lifelong success through mentorship, encouragement, and community engagement.

How do you measure impact and success in your programs? Success is reflected in the number of repeat requests for support, ongoing engagement from participants, and referrals made by them to assist other organizations seeking assistance for educational and community-focused initiatives.

What are your biggest fundraising or outreach challenges? At present, YOUNOW is supported through my personal resources. As the organization grows, developing sustainable partnerships and expanding outreach will become important priorities.

How do you build long-term relationships with donors and supporters? In regard to supporters relationships are built through consistent engagement, personal connection, and visibility in community and church activities. Maintaining contact with youth participants and their families fosters trust and lasting support.

What trends are influencing the nonprofit world today? I don’t have solid data, but I believe nonprofits focus on educational attainment, workforce readiness, youth mentorship, and collaborative partnerships. Organizations may also be increasing leverage in technology and community networks to expand impact.

Can you share a story that shows your mission in action? After learning of a church youth program’s needs, I provided requested supplies and later supported fundraising for summer camp. This led to ongoing opportunities to mentor students and encourage academic excellence.

What keeps you motivated in this work? The enthusiasm of parents, guardians, and young people inspires me. Seeing students eager to learn, grow, and pursue their goals reinforces my commitment to helping them reach their full potential.
