At Wanecek Health Solutions, our mission is simple: Protecting Your Health. Protecting Your Future.

How do you define success?

Success isn’t measured by the size of my paycheck or the number of policies I sell. It’s measured by the trust I earn, the relationships I build, and the lives I positively impact. If I can leave people better informed, better protected, and confident that someone truly has their best interests at heart, then I’ve been successful. At the end of the day, if I’ve made a positive difference in someone’s life and become a better person than I was yesterday, that’s what success means to me.

What lessons from sports have you applied to your personal life and career?

Growing up playing sports taught me lessons that have shaped who I am today. I learned that discipline beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard, preparation creates confidence, and success comes from serving the team—not yourself. Those same values guide how I work with every client. My goal isn’t simply to help someone purchase health insurance; it’s to educate them, earn their trust, and be there long after enrollment. Just like a good teammate, I want my clients to know they always have someone in their corner.

What strategies do you use to improve your performance?

I improve my performance by committing to continuous learning, setting clear goals, seeking feedback, and staying disciplined with my daily habits. I believe preparation builds confidence, and consistency creates results. Every day I try to learn something new, refine my process, and become a little better than I was the day before.

Can You Discuss a Time When You Had to Work with a Team to Achieve a Goal?

When I was 13 years old, I played on a Babe Ruth baseball team that made it to the state tournament. We were, without question, the smallest team there. I still remember walking onto the field and hearing the opposing team’s announcer make comments about how small we looked compared to everyone else. Before the first pitch was even thrown, we had already been written off. Instead of letting that discourage us, it brought us together. We stopped worrying about what everyone else thought and focused on what we could control—our effort, preparation, and how we played as a team. Every player embraced their role, trusted one another, and gave everything they had. Against all expectations, we went undefeated and won the Babe Ruth State Championship. That experience has stayed with me my entire life. It taught me never to underestimate people based on appearances and that success isn’t determined by size, titles, or resources. It’s determined by preparation, resilience, teamwork, and believing in one another. It also taught me that people don’t need the biggest team or the biggest company behind them—they need someone who genuinely cares, prepares, and is willing to go to bat for them. That’s exactly how I approach my clients today. Whether I’m helping an individual, a family, or a small business, my goal is to be the person in their corner, helping them make informed decisions and protecting what matters most—their health and their future.
