What differentiates you from the competition?What differentiates UNF Licensing is our strong connection to the alumni and business communities throughout Northeast Florida. We take pride in working with local alumni-owned businesses, community partners, and regional vendors whenever possible to create opportunities that benefit both the university and the local economy. These relationships allow us to develop authentic partnerships, expand the visibility of the UNF brand, and create products and experiences that reflect the pride people have in being part of the Osprey community. By staying closely connected to our alumni and investing in local collaborations, we are able to build a licensing program that is both community-focused and uniquely reflective of UNF.

What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?The biggest marketing challenge is increasing awareness and demand for officially licensed UNF merchandise while competing for attention in an increasingly crowded retail and digital marketplace. Most of the Jacksonville community does not support UNF or want to be involved. They root for UF, FSU, Georgia, etc. all the Football schools only. We are focused on creating compelling products and collections that resonate with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the Jacksonville community while also ensuring our brand is represented consistently and appropriately across all licensed products. Balancing innovation, fan engagement, and brand integrity will be a key priority as we continue to grow the visibility and impact of the UNF brand.
