Short company description:

We are an on-demand water delivery service. Providing food, Beverages, marine supplies, Fuel, and provisions to boaters and yacht owners.

What’s the biggest challenge people in your side of town face?

From my perspective, one of downtown Jacksonville’s biggest challenges is making everyday life feel more connected. I’d like to see more convenient connections between where people live, local businesses, entertainment, and the waterfront. We have the St. Johns River right here, and I see an opportunity to make it a bigger part of everyday life downtown.

What makes your business the go-to choice for side of town residents?

I’m building Dingee to make life on the water more convenient, starting with deliveries of food, drinks, ice, and essentials directly to boaters. Instead of cutting a trip short to return to shore, customers will be able to order what they need through our platform. I live in downtown Jacksonville, and our headquarters is here, while our first launch market will be Miami. As a Navy veteran with a hospitality background, I’m bringing both experiences into how we build the service.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give someone new to side of town?

Get out and get to know the community. Walk along the river, visit local businesses, attend events, and talk to the people who live and work here. For me, feeling at home in a city comes from building relationships and finding the places you want to keep coming back to

What’s one thing people should know about why side of town is a great place to live or invest?

What draws me to downtown Jacksonville is the opportunity to help shape its future. The river gives it a distinct identity, and I see room for businesses that bring people together and make living here more enjoyable. That’s why I chose to base myself and Dingee’s headquarters here, even though we’ll launch in Miami first. I want to build a company that grows beyond Jacksonville while keeping its roots here.
