What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?Customer interaction
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?With over 12 years of roofing experience, Affinity serves the greater NE FL area. Our licensed professionals work directly with you, whether you are dealing with storm damage or an insurance letter. Let us be your trusted partner through the process.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?We want to scale up the business with more qualified residential roofing projects. We also want to expand into commercial roofing projects, starting small and growing that division.

What trends are currently shaping the construction industry?Insurance costs are rising, and many insurance companies are requiring property owners to replace their roof well ahead of it’s useful life. This unexpected expense can be daunting for most people. As an experienced roofer, we help homeowners deal with this frustrating scenario and stressful time.

How are you implementing sustainable building practices? We are partnering with solar energy companies to install solar panels concurrent with a roof replacement.
We also encourage sky lights installation on new roofs, which can help customers save energy costs.

Can you describe a recent project that stood out to you? We recently worked with a homeowner who is doing a large interior renovation on his house. The house is over 100 years old, and had been through several prior renovations over the decades.
The first step in the process was to install a new roof, which addressed the roof leaks he had been experiencing.
The easy fix for a new roof is always to replace with the same or similar materials, in this case asphalt shingles. As part of the investment in his house, the homeowner requested information for alternative roofing, specifically metal. We gave him pros/cons and colors and pricing on several metal roof options, in addition to the standard architectural shingles. We even pursued new supplier relationships, resulting in a cost savings that we passed on to the customer.
At the end of the day, he went with the metal roof and is extremely happy with the results.

What advice would you give to someone entering the construction field?Buy me some coffee and let’s talk.
