Anne Wooten LLC
What is your approach to helping clients identify and solve key challenges? My approach begins with creating a safe, Spirit-led space where clients can slow down, reflect, and be honest about what they’re carrying. I ask intentional questions that help them uncover root issues, not just surface symptoms. Together, we look at where fear, old labels, past hurts, or the inner critic may be shaping their decisions. From there, I guide them through a faith-based process of identifying lies, replacing them with truth, and taking practical steps forward. It’s never about rushing, it’s about helping them gain clarity, reconnect with God, and walk toward freedom one surrendered step at a time.
How do you tailor your coaching or consulting style to different industries?I tailor my coaching by focusing on the person, not the industry. Every client, whether they come from business, education, ministry, or a season of personal transition carries unique challenges, gifts, and goals. My approach is to meet them where they are, listen deeply, ask intentional questions, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide the process. Instead of fitting people into a framework, I adapt the tools, pace, and conversations to the specific needs of their journey so they can experience clarity, confidence, and spiritual growth in whatever field God has placed them.
What are the most common misconceptions about consulting? One of the most common misconceptions about coaching is that the coach is there to give all the answers or “fix” someone’s life. In reality, coaching is a guided, collaborative process. A good coach doesn’t take over, we help clients slow down, reflect, and hear God’s direction for themselves. Another misconception is that coaching is only for people who are struggling. Many clients are spiritually mature, successful, and strong leaders; they just need a safe, Spirit-led space to process transitions, overcome inner obstacles, and rediscover their identity in Christ.
How do you measure the success of your client engagements?I measure success by the real-life transformation I see in my clients, both the big breakthroughs and the small, quiet wins that matter just as much. When a client starts walking in a little more peace, hearing God’s voice more clearly, releasing something heavy from the past, or taking one brave step in faith, that’s success to me. I’m looking for shifts in confidence, clarity, emotional freedom, and intimacy with God. It’s less about checking boxes and more about seeing them grow, heal, and live out their identity in Christ day by day.
What trends are influencing the future of consulting and coaching?A few key trends are shaping the future of coaching. People are increasingly seeking whole-person support, coaching that addresses emotional, spiritual, and personal growth, not just goals or performance. There’s also a rising desire for authenticity; clients want coaches who are relatable and transparent. And more individuals are turning to faith-based coaching as they navigate transitions and uncertainty, looking for guidance rooted in Scripture, identity, and purpose. Coaching is becoming more holistic and more heart-centered than ever.
What’s the most rewarding part of your work? The most rewarding part of my work is seeing the growth from where a client begins to where God leads them. When someone comes in feeling overwhelmed or unsure, and over time you watch them gain clarity, confidence, and a deeper walk with God, it’s incredible. You can see the change in their smile, their posture, their peace. Those moments when they “light up” remind me that I’m doing exactly what God has called and equipped me to do.
What skills do you think are essential for future consultants or coaches? For future coaches, I believe the most essential “skill” isn’t a technique at all; it’s obedience to what God has called you to do. Coaching from a Kingdom perspective requires humility, surrender, and a willingness to let the Holy Spirit lead every conversation. Yes, practical tools matter, but the heart of effective coaching is being attentive, compassionate, and Spirit-led. When a coach is rooted in God’s Word, in prayer, listens deeply, and trusts His guidance, God does the transforming work through them.
