What is your approach to helping clients identify and solve key challenges? Understand the situation at hand. What have they tried and how did it work. What’s at stake with this project. And finally, build a clear idea of what success looks like.

What are the most common misconceptions about consulting? The most common misconceptions about consulting are 1) that coaching is for professionals that are performing poorly or 2) that coaching is a punishment. The reason professional athletes have 5+ coaches is because they are worth investing in because they have a proven track record of excellent performance.

What trends are influencing the future of consulting and coaching? AI is making information easier to find and get exposed to, however it is making it harder to implement the right behaviors consistently. Coaching is becoming more about collaboration dynamics and performance consistency than it is about sharing good ideas or best practices.

What’s the most rewarding part of your work? Seeing clients reaching their definition of what success looks like.

What skills do you think are essential for future consultants or coaches? Coaches must understand the science of human connectivity and collaboration in combination with the behaviors that lead to top performance and profitability for organizations.
