How is the current market affecting buying and selling trends?The period of very low interest rates in 2020 and 2021 had the effect of inflating property values. Now that rates have gone up (returned to normal levels, really) sellers are reluctant to sell and abandon a low rate and buyers find higher home prices and higher rates, making many homes unaffordable. The is like a perfect storm.
