About CHAMPION Now!After 45 years in the manufacturing sector, selling machine tools (manual and CNC) I sold my family's machine tool distribution, service and rebuilding company.
In 2012 I founded a 501C3 CHAMPIONNow!, which stands for Change How American Manufacturing's Perceived In Our Nation. (CHAMPION). The Now! is to join in and do something about it now. (Call to action). I have written dozens of articles, been interviewed dozens of podcast interviews from podcasters all over the country, authored two books, and now designed and initiated a portable MFG Camp (Camp CHAMP) to inspire middle schoolers with High School student mentoring them at the same time! I grew up in Jacksonville and left in 1977. I am now again a part time resident of Jacksonville.
What differentiates you from the competition?Our camp is portable, runs CNC machines on 110 volt, can be set up anywhere and features a line from 12 years old to 65 years old and everything in between.
plus we have the middle school students that feed into the high school (mentor them)

If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?Parents need to know that their children do not need a 4 year college degree to earn a good living. If they are interested in making things, (MUCH of which is now computerized) they can find a home (career) in mfg with a much lower cost of entry
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Raising money to fund the organization, possibly being able to hire a full time employee.
Marketing the (turnkey) Camp CHAMP for communities around the country.
