About IronMind AdvisorsIronMind Advisors is an executive coaching and human performance practice founded by Kenny Stoddart, creator of the IronMind Identity Framework and Identity Gain OS™. We provide confidential, one-on-one coaching for executives, founders, and elite performers navigating pressure, transition, and identity — with a privacy-first model limited to a small roster of active clients. Through The Athlete Check™, an IronMind company built with Division I student-athletes, we bring identity intelligence to the next generation: a readiness assessment across eight domains, the IronMind Blueprint Certification™, and mental performance training that prepares athletes for their sport, their careers, and everything after.
What differentiates you from the competition?Lived credibility: 27 years as a global cybersecurity executive, 10x Ironman finisher, and cancer survivor. We don't sell motivation — we build identity systems, trained and measured like sport, for leaders and athletes under real pressure.
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers? The Athlete Check™ measures what others miss: an identity-intelligence assessment across eight domains — leadership, resilience, boundaries, purpose, financial confidence, and legacy — with a written readiness report and a clear path forward.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?Most programs train the athlete. We launch the person — with an identity that cannot be rattled and a professional presence that cannot be ignored.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Building national awareness for The Athlete Check™ and the IronMind Blueprint Certification™ while protecting the confidential, referral-driven nature of our executive practice — scaling reach without compromising client privacy.

What is your approach to helping clients identify and solve key challenges? Every engagement starts with measurement. We use identity-intelligence assessment — The Athlete Check™ — to see exactly where a client stands across eight domains, from leadership identity and resilience to purpose and legacy, then build a phased plan around identity and habit systems. We don’t chase symptoms; we rebuild the operating system underneath them.

How do you tailor your coaching or consulting style to different industries? The framework stays constant; the arena changes. A Division I athlete, a founder mid-transition, and a global executive face the same core questions of identity, pressure, and what comes next — we translate the IronMind framework into each client’s language, stakes, and schedule.

What are the most common misconceptions about consulting? That coaching is motivation. Motivation fades by Thursday — real development is practice: structured mental reps, measured progress, and identity work that holds up under pressure. The second misconception is that asking for help is weakness. Our strongest clients train the mind like the body.

How do you measure the success of your client engagements? We measure what we train. Clients re-take the readiness assessment and track movement across the eight domains, alongside real-world markers: how they lead, how they handle adversity, and whether the identity holds on the hard days — signing day, the transfer portal, the boardroom.

What trends are influencing the future of consulting and coaching? Identity intelligence is becoming the new competitive edge — teams, schools, and companies want visibility into the internal variables that actually drive performance. AI fluency is now a core professional skill. And demand is growing for confidential, privacy-first coaching where leaders can think without exposure.

What’s the most rewarding part of your work? Watching someone stop renting their identity from a scoreboard, a title, or a diagnosis — and start owning it. When an athlete or executive walks into a room with an identity that cannot be rattled, everything downstream changes: their team, their family, their future.

What skills do you think are essential for future consultants or coaches? Lived credibility, the discipline to measure outcomes, and fluency with modern tools — including AI. Add the ability to protect confidentiality and to tell clients the truth. People don’t need another cheerleader; they need a professional who has carried real pressure.
