If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?Valley Trimlight will bring your home to life year-round with permanent, programmable lighting that is beautiful, energy-efficient and built to last for many years.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Social Media Marketing, Google Marketing and SEO. We have a lot of competition in the market and it seems like everyone but us knows how to use social media marketing to their advantage.

What trends are currently shaping the construction industry?Our product is one of the trends shaping the construction indursrty, we are starting to see repeat customers. If they move they want to add Trimlight to their new home because once they have had it, they don’t want to live without it.

How are you implementing sustainable building practices?Trimlight is a low voltage system that is energy efficient.

What challenges are you facing with labor shortages or supply chains?None at the moment.

How do you ensure safety on your job sites?We do ladder safety training along with other trainings for every employee, we make sure our equipment is safe to use and if it’s not we take it out of commission.

What role does technology play in your planning and execution?We use a Quickbooks and Monday to keep track off scheduling and invoicing. All of our employees have access to Monday so everyone has the information they need to service the customer in a timely manner from bid requests, installation and repairs.

Can you describe a recent project that stood out to you?We have one customer that loves our lights so much that he has a full display for every holiday where cars will drive by his house to see what displays he has put up. He continues to add more and more lights where ever he can.

What advice would you give to someone entering the construction field?Since we are not really the construction field, but we are more of a home improvement product, I would say become a master in the product and service you provide. Use each opportunity to have a new customer as an opportunity to create a relationship where the customer feels comfortable in reaching out when they need help. The last thing we want is a customer to feel like they spent a lot of money on a product that they are not satisfied with. Sometimes with technology, some customers need a little more help than others.
