Della Sellers

Founder - Girls of Virtue

Della Sellers is a Jacksonville-based entrepreneur, nonprofit founder, and mission-driven leader dedicated to empowering young women to rise beyond their circumstances and step confidently into their purpose.

Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Della made Jacksonville her home in 2011. She has spent more than 17 years in the automotive industry and is the owner of Virtue Consulting, an automotive consulting company that supports growth, leadership, and operational excellence. Della credits her career path and the mentors she encountered along the way as pivotal forces that transformed her life.

Her journey, however, was not without adversity. Growing up, Della faced significant challenges including an unstable home environment, substance and physical abuse, poverty, and the effects of a broken family. Through faith, perseverance, and an unwavering determination to build a better future, she created a new life for herself and her family.

That journey inspired her vision that every young woman deserves to know her future is limitless, regardless of where she comes from or what she has experienced. This vision led to the founding of Girls of Virtue, a nonprofit organization launched in April 2020.

Girls of Virtue serves young women ages 14 to 22 throughout North Florida and South Georgia, empowering them to become grounded spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially. The program provides mentorship, leadership development, vocational licensing resources, and group experiences designed to build confidence, resilience, and self-worth. Through outdoor team-building activities, personal growth classes, financial education, fitness and nutrition guidance, self-defense, personal branding, and spiritual balance, participants are supported holistically.

Girls of Virtue intentionally surrounds participants with strong, successful women who have overcome similar challenges and now lead thriving personal and professional lives. As participants prepare to enter the workforce, the organization provides resources to help them obtain vocational licenses and continues mentorship support through secondary education to ensure long-term success and fulfillment.

In addition to her nonprofit work, Della is the host of “On a Mission,” a weekly television show on FaithWorks TV. The series features seasoned business executives, nonprofit leaders, and community influencers from around the world who are driven by purpose and impact. Each episode explores leadership, community engagement, and the meaningful missions that shape successful lives and organizations.

Airing weekly either virtually or from the FaithWorks TV studios at 1611 San Marco Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida, “On a Mission” offers an authentic, relaxed setting where guests share their journeys, challenges, insights, and lessons learned. Through thoughtful conversations, the show provides viewers with practical wisdom, leadership inspiration, and a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed both personally and professionally.

Through her work in business, media, and nonprofit leadership, Della Sellers continues to live out her mission of faith, empowerment, and service, helping others discover their purpose and believe in the power of possibility.
