Why did you choose your industry?I grew up knowing I wanted to help people create meaningful change in their lives. Healthcare and therapy were an easy choice from my own personal experience, being able to avoid a pending surgery through natural healing. As my career progressed, I saw the shortcomings of traditional medicine, working in silos and not recognizing the importance of holistic care in overall health. Our practice is a novel comprehensive approach to help families thrive.
Who are your typical clients?We work primarily with women and children.
What do you like best about being in this industry?Seeing families go from struggling to thriving to ensure healthy families for generations to come.
What are common problems you see?Long wait lists, short and disjointed care, and insurance-driven standards that prevent us from focusing on what is actually important to families
What advice/tips do you have for clients?As women in particular, we often focus on pouring into everyone else and spreading ourselves thin.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?We have a wonderful network with local providers in the same space--midwives, doulas, other therapists, counselors, etc. They refer to us to support the needs of their clients outside of their specialty. In addition, social media and ads have helped more people find our services.
