Who are your typical clients?A vast majority are women over 35 who are solopreneurs and interested in personal and business development.
What do you like best about being in this industry? At it's best, the personal development industry has the incredible benefit of crossing all lines of people and roles and is founded on helping people be authentically themselves.
What are common problems you see?Too much noise. Too much "selling to the pain."
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Learn to Reset your programming recived from other people and society and your learned or conditioned responses so you can make decissions from you authentic self.
When is your busy season?365 days per year - but I guess one month in Spring and one in Fall get busier when I add producing the Be More Conference for Women to the mix.
What keeps you up at night?nothing
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?Consistent social media visibility, Video, podcasts, speaking, book, email
How involved are you in the community?Which community? I have so many! I am founder of Wise Women Collective, a free online community. I am a member of P.E.O., a 150+ year old sisterhood dedicated to supporting education for women. I am a member of RAARE - Radical Action Advancing Racial Equity.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity? Many Hopes
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Do what is yours to do, not what society tells you. This question makes me think of the quote from Howard Thurman: "Don't ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive, and do that. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive."
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Artful presence practice, stitching
