How long have you been in your industry?5 (ProCFO Partners)
Why did you choose your industry?I chose this industry because I am passionate about helping business leaders achieve their goals by providing clarity and structure through expert financial leadership. It is deeply rewarding to make a meaningful impact on companies and the people they serve.
Who are your typical clients? Our typical clients are companies with $5–50 million in revenue, led by visionary leaders who understand the value of expert guidance to drive growth and achieve their goals.
What do you like best about being in this industry?I love witnessing the transformation when clients gain the insight and confidence they need to make critical decisions, unlocking their potential for sustainable growth.
What are common problems you see? Many companies lack the financial leadership needed to create a framework for growth, resulting in poor decision-making, cash flow issues, and missed opportunities.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Recognize the importance of aligning your financial strategy with your broader goals and invest in the expertise needed to build the right processes, systems, and structure to support your vision.
When is your busy season?I will let you know when we find a slow one. It has been busy since we started, and we don’t see that slowing down any time soon.
What keeps you up at night?Ensuring our clients are fully supported to navigate complex financial challenges while maintaining the quality and integrity of our services.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business? We focus on building relationships through thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and demonstrating our value through client success stories and testimonials.
How involved are you in the community?I contribute by supporting local business initiatives, mentoring emerging leaders, and participating in events that foster community growth and collaboration.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?I focus my charitable giving on food and shelter for those without. This is typically a few different organizations. I look for ones that align with my values and make a tangible difference in the community.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Be prepared to build trust and relationships as the cornerstone of your success. Expertise is critical, but empathy and the ability to connect with clients are just as important.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I enjoy spending time with my family, (father of 3 daughters,) and exploring activities that allow me to recharge and stay inspired.
