How long have you been in your industry?8 years
Why did you choose your industry?I chose this industry after onboarding over 600+ properties and migrating over 10,000+ data points into Entrata, where I saw firsthand how overwhelmed internal teams can be during transitions. Large-scale migrations can be chaotic, and I knew my expertise in software onboarding, marketing, and team training could fill this gap. That’s why I founded TopTier Onboarding Consulting LLC—to help property management companies navigate these challenges seamlessly.
Who are your typical clients? My typical clients are property management companies either already using Entrata or looking to transition into it. They can be boutique or large portfolios & lack the internal capacity to handle complex software migrations, data transfers, and optimizations. I work as an extension of their team, ensuring a smooth transition.
What do you like best about being in this industry? What I love most about this industry is helping clients eliminate wasted time spent juggling two systems during a transition. I know how frustrating it is to operate out of multiple platforms, causing inefficiencies and delays. My passion is ensuring a seamless migration so teams can focus on operations, not workarounds. Seeing clients fully transition and thrive in Entrata is what drives me.
What are common problems you see?A major problem in the industry is the lack of internal capacity to manage large-scale software migrations while maintaining daily operations. Many teams operate in two systems at once, causing inefficiencies, errors, higher expenses and wasted time. Proper data migrations and training help reduce errors and expenses, ensuring a smoother transition and quicker adoption of Entrata.
What advice/tips do you have for clients? My advice for clients is to prioritize a well-planned migration to minimize disruption and reduce costs. The faster you fully migrate to Entrata, the less expense you’ll incur from operating across two systems. Stay organized by setting clear goals, timelines, and communication. Ensure your team is well-trained to maximize the software’s potential. Lastly, don’t hesitate to seek expert help to streamline the process and avoid common pitfalls.
When is your busy season? My busy season is typically during quarters 2 and 3, as companies are closing more acquisitions and need to onboard new properties. For clients transitioning into Entrata, this can happen anytime throughout the year, depending on their timeline for migration.
What keeps you up at night? What keeps me up at night professionally is ensuring seamless migrations for clients, avoiding data discrepancies and delays. I’m always focused on optimizing their Entrata systems, making sure everything runs smoothly so clients can get the most value from their software transition.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business? To grow and expand my business, I currently market myself through Google and LinkedIn, focusing on showcasing my expertise in Entrata onboarding and property management solutions. This year, my goal is to expand on these efforts by leveraging targeted content, networking events, and referrals to reach a broader audience.
How involved are you in the community?I’m actively working on expanding my involvement in the community, with a focus on connecting more with local businesses, providing expertise in property management, and participating in industry events. My goal this year is to grow my network, build stronger relationships, and help businesses optimize their operations and succeed.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity? My favorite nonprofit charity is “He Gets Us”. They focus on sharing the love of Jesus by helping people understand His message in today’s world. Through storytelling and outreach, they aim to bridge gaps and bring people closer to Christ, emphasizing empathy and compassion for others.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business? My advice to someone thinking of getting into this business is to understand property management and software solutions like Entrata. Build strong relationships with clients, stay adaptable, and focus on solving complex problems. Keep learning, as the industry evolves, and always prioritize helping clients streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?In my free time, I love keeping in touch with my family since I’m one of 9—sometimes, just staying connected with everyone feels like a daily event! I also enjoy catching up on reading, going to the beach, or doing anything that includes experiencing the natural beauty of the world.
