How long have you been in your industry?20
Why did you choose your industry?I chose PR because it’s the most powerful lever for building credibility that money can’t buy. It creates trust, amplifies real expertise, and builds reputations that last.
Who are your typical clients? Our typical clients are founders, executives, and thought leaders who want to be recognized as the go-to expert in their industry. They’re building brands, movements, or companies, and they know visibility without credibility won’t cut it. They come to us to get featured, get known, and get trusted without wasting time on outdated PR tactics or overpriced agencies.
What do you like best about being in this industry?PR is the power of story. One well-placed feature can shift perception, open doors, and create real momentum. It’s not about hype, but about helping people with something real to say get seen, heard, and trusted. There’s nothing better than turning a great brand into a known, respected name.
What are common problems you see?The industry is filled with overpriced agencies, outdated tactics, and vague promises. Most people treat PR like a one-time stunt or think it’s just who you know. We see too many founders paying for fluff instead of results when what they really need is a clear, repeatable way to build authority and stay visible.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Treat PR like a system, not a shot in the dark. One feature won’t change your business, but a consistent pipeline will. Focus on building real media relationships, telling timely stories, and amplifying every win across channels. Pitch with purpose, follow up strategically, and measure what matters. With the right system in place, PR becomes your most powerful visibility engine.
When is your busy season?Every season
What keeps you up at night? Those “Get Featured in Forbes for $297” ads.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business? We use our own Good News Blueprint—a visibility intelligence system that builds a strategic pipeline of earned media across podcasts, digital, local, industry, national media, and more. It’s how we grow our brand, land features, and create authority at scale, by following the same system we build for our clients.
How involved are you in the community?I teach, mentor, and openly share what I’ve learned about building visibility and credibility through earned media. Whether it’s workshops, speaking, or one-on-one mentoring, I’m committed to helping founders and future leaders understand how to own their voice, tell their story, and make a real impact.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Charity Water
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?PR has a PR problem. If you’re getting into this business, don’t just follow the old rules; rewrite them. Focus on credibility over clout, strategy over spin, and relationships over vanity. The industry needs more people who know how to earn trust, not just attention. If you can help fix that, there’s a big opportunity here.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Writing and drafting/sewing clothes.
