How long have you been in your industry?2 years
Why did you choose your industry?I spent 25 years with Fortune Companies as a HR Executive. I enjoyed the Human Capital side of the business in those roles. Still, I ultimately decided to return to a level of direct influence on an owner and use my talents to help them grow and exit their business.
Who are your typical clients?Those who have owned their business for at least 3 years have an EBITDA of $2 to $40 million and are looking to grow to the next stage or exit. Ideally, they are located in Florida or Atlanta. The ideal industry would be advanced manufacturing, technology, or CPG.
What do you like best about being in this industry?It impacts owners at a critical junction when taking the next step with their business.
What are common problems you see?The financial landscape in 2024 and now in 2025 is giving many owners pause to decide on the next step.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Take this time to recalibrate if they are still ready to exit their business or to reinvest in it for further growth.
When is your busy season?Typically April to November.
What keeps you up at night?You name it! Balancing a marketing campaign, live networking, industry conferences, etc. all drain time and focus.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?Currently, by word of mouth. Getting in front of the target clients repeatedly so I can become a familiar face should lead to opportunities. I am reconfing my offer to include a HR strategy component and strategic partnership to expand.
How involved are you in the community?Support the events of various non-profits, mainly by participating in the run/walk events or donating.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Focus your network on 3 or 4 organizations whose events you regularly attend. These organizations may have target clients or can network with you based on their clientele. Become a familiar face, and it will help you determine where to spend your resources to get leads.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Getting to the beach and attending UF Sporting Events!
