Why did you choose your industry?I have always been a good communicator. I enjoy explaining things and helping people make the best possible decisions. The work is challenging and creative and merges art, craft and commerce.
Who are your typical clients?We work with many Fortune 500 companies as well as small business owners like dentists, med spas and physical therapists.
What do you like best about being in this industry?Helping people achieve their goals through expert storytelling.
What are common problems you see?An inability to achieve predictable results. An inability to deliver on time and on budget. The confusion and uncertainty that AI has brought.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Get a commitment from a creative vendor on three key points: 1. I will enjoy the creative/production process2. I will be proud of what we create together and eager to share it internally and externally3. It will achieve the exact goals / KPIs I need it to
When is your busy season?It depends on the industry. Typically Q4
What keeps you up at night?Not being able to predict how completely AI will change things and when things will level off a bit in terms of the relentless pace of change (or if it will ever happen).
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?We are a full service creative agency who gets paid based on approved deliverables in hand. Our process is simple, low maintenance and fun. Our work is professional, on brand and effective. We act as a seamless extension of your in house team and will meet you wherever in the process you prefer to be met.
How involved are you in the community?I do human rights education around the world with my own nonprofit Rock For Human Rights. I mentor other business owners and creatives. I donate to many good causes through my church, both in terms of time and monetarily.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Youth For Human Rights
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Be an advocate for the viewer/reader/consumer of your content. Help them make decisions that are most helpful to them. Let that inform everything you create and produce.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?riding motorcycles, writing and performing original music, traveling, spending time with my wife and son
