How do you define success?: Success for The Island Theater means making a difference in people and the community’s lives through creative theatrical storytelling.

What is something unique about your business?: We’re a volunteer built community theater that strives to be diverse and accepting of all parts of the Fleming Island and Greater Jacksonville community while pursuing our mission of theater education.

What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in your business?: COVID (obviously). Beyond that – getting the word out about our amazing community theater to expand our talent pool. Too often our newest members say – “I wish I had known about this sooner”.

The Biggest change in marketing that I see coming in the next 5 years is?: Finding effective avenues to capture the audience’s attention
