James:
Hi, and welcome to Living My Faith. I’m James Fenimore, and joining us today is a very special guest—Krystal Parker. Krystal, how are you?

Krystal:
I’m awesome—thanks so much for having me today.

James:
Thank you for joining us, Krystal. I have one very specific question for you: how are you living your faith?

Krystal:
Every single breath of every single day. And in the marketplace, that isn’t always easy—it can feel isolating at times. That’s exactly why the Christian Chamber has been such a dear project to my heart. We were never meant to live our faith alone.

James:
Amen. I love that. Now, tell everyone—what exactly do you do at the Chamber?

Krystal:
The Christian Chamber is exactly what it sounds like. Chambers of Commerce have been around for over 400 years—it’s a proven model for doing business together, gaining access to resources, forming powerful collaborations, building networks and relationships, and making a difference in the community.

What we’ve done is take that proven model and align it with faith. As you know, James, Christians do business differently than the rest of the world. We use the living Word of God as our guide. We use prayer as a superpower. We access the Holy Spirit. Our businesses should be cities set on a hill—unable to be hidden.

We’re called to serve the marketplace with excellence, ethics, and integrity—to be top-tier Christian businesses. What we’re doing is rebranding what it means to be a Christian business and bringing together the best Christian businesses in the nation under a Christian Chamber model.

That way, we can do business together, accelerate Christ into the marketplace, and truly infuse the marketplace with Him. Through Christian business, we can see cities—and even our nation—transformed.

James:
This is such an important mission and such a powerful act of faith. There are so many incredible businesses out there, and when we support each other, it lifts all of us up to do even more good work on His behalf. Can you speak to that?

Krystal:
Absolutely. There are a couple of key things we’ve discovered. First, Christian business owners have 840 times more impact on the unchurched than a pastor does from the pulpit on Sunday. That’s huge.

Christian business owners carry the light of Christ into places where trust and influence already exist—the marketplace. Second, many Chambers of Commerce have begun to look more like the world, which is increasingly post-Christian. As a result, Christians have been pushed into silos, into the shadows.

That’s broken the infrastructure for Christian businesses. Even when people want to do business with faith-aligned companies, they don’t know where to find them.

So we’re rebuilding that infrastructure for Kingdom commerce. When Christians do business together, the dollar stays within the Christian community and then pours back into the broader community with values aligned to the Kingdom. That’s how a rising tide truly lifts all ships.

James:
I love that. Instead of our dollars going to a vendor who might put it toward their third Ferrari, it could be going to a church, a homeless ministry, or a shelter—really doing the Lord’s work.

Krystal:
I hope it goes to a Ferrari—but honestly, it could be much worse. Let me share a quick story.

There was a ballot initiative in Florida where the opposing side—completely non–value aligned—poured $120 million into pushing an initiative for full-term abortions. Those of us fighting against it spent about $40 million. By God’s grace, we won and stopped the initiative.

But afterward, as we were celebrating, I heard the Lord ask me, “Krystal, how many of your dollars went into that $120 million used to push something against My values and the sanctity of life?”

That question pierced my heart. We have to take responsibility for every single dollar we spend. We hope it goes to something harmless—but often, it doesn’t. It’s time we intentionally steward our resources and take back the mountain of economics in our nation.

James:
Krystal, you just kind of hit me over the head with that—and I’m sure a lot of people listening felt it too. So now the big question: where can people go to find businesses they should be supporting?

Krystal:
Absolutely. We have directories and are connected through the Christian Chamber Coalition with Christian Chambers across the nation—from sea to shining sea. This is a growing initiative, and we’re just in our sophomore season.

You can visit uschristianchamber.com to find a local chamber chapter in your city or connect with our national network. And be sure to join us at SWC, our global conference, in April 2026 in Orlando. You don’t want to miss it.

James:
Krystal, thank you so much for joining me today. The work you’re doing—living your faith and working your faith—is truly incredible. Thank you for being here.

This has been Living My Faith. I’m James Fenimore, and we’ll see you next time.
