How long have you been in your industry?15+ years
Why did you choose your industry? My journey started with a passion for storytelling and a drive to make brands come alive in meaningful ways. What began in journalism and public relations has grown into a career in social media strategy, thought leadership, and employee advocacy.
Who are your typical clients?I work with B2B growth-stage startups, SMBs, and enterprises, focusing on healthcare and life sciences because of their global innovations and meaningful projects that impact millions of lives.
What do you like best about being in this industry? The industry is constantly changing—it forces me to adapt, learn, and grow. There’s no “set it and forget it” method, which makes every day different and exciting.
What are common problems you see?One of the biggest challenges is demonstrating the long-term value of brand, advocacy, and communication initiatives. Without a clear connection to growth, revenue, or retention, these are often deprioritized by leadership.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Always begin with data—test, learn, and adapt. Whether you’re refining a program or launching a new one, evaluate what’s already effective and identify gaps. Use real insights to shape strategy and test programs before scaling. This approach leads to smarter investments and strengthens the case for long-term support.
What keeps you up at night?Quick-fix solutions that ignore strategy. Many organizations adopt tools or trends without a long-term plan, often causing more issues than they solve.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?I lead with thought leadership—sharing insights through social media, blogs, and podcasts. I stay connected with my network, speak at industry events, and promote the value of people-first strategies that influence both culture and business impact.
How involved are you in the community?I serve as co-lead for IABC’s Consultant SIG, where I help facilitate connection, learning, and growth. I’m also on the Women in Leadership Council at the Workforce Institute, supporting the development of future-ready workplace curricula.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Stay curious and adaptable. This industry rewards those who grow. Your journey doesn’t have to be linear—B2C, B2B, agency work, in-house—every experience shapes who you are. Develop your skills, find mentors, and don’t hesitate to pivot when your passions change.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I’m a proud mom to a two-year-old son, so life is filled with toddler adventures. I also enjoy hosting dinner parties and wine tastings, playing tennis with my husband, taking barre classes, playing piano, and spending quality time with friends and family.
