About CC BROWN INSURANCE/ GEICO SAINT AUGUSTINEMy Office is a GEICO Exclusive Agency covering Personal Insurance Products licensed in Georgia and Florida. We navigate the wild world of insurance in this ever changing market. The great thing is that we represent one of the top insurance companies in the state and nation. We are experts in insuring Autos, Boats, Motorcycles, Home, Condos, Renters, Jewelry, ID Theft and other Personal Items. I have been apart of GEICO for 14 years ( 10 years in corporate and 4 years owning my own office) so I have personal connections in the company that can assist when any of my customer's needs.
What differentiates you from the competition?I have over 14 years experience with the GEICO product. I have helped develop some on the systems used. I have personal relationships with GEICO leadership. We offer the same prices product as online or the 1800 number, with a local touch.
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers? We offer elite insurance products for our elite customers who deserve to know that they are covered with someone how has their best interest in mind.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?We are a local business who is here to give you piece of mind with our insurance products so you don't have to worry are you covered or who to call. When you buy from our office, you help us support local schools, charities, and youth sports.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year? The biggest challenge is making people understand that we are not the same as the GEICO corporate office. They are our biggest competition. We are a local owned and operated business servicing Saint Johns, Flagler, and Putnam County

How is technology reshaping the insurance landscape?Insurance Companies are moving into more telematics. Looking at how driving habits are and their driving abilities , tell us the likelihood of a customer having an accident. We look at areas and how see the population and as it grows how many

What strategies are you using to enhance customer experience? We are using social media advertising to reach customers. Also good ole grass roots being in front of customers by going to events and being apart of the community.

How do you manage risk in a constantly changing environment? You have to adapt. Every day is its own challenge. You look at your competition and see how you can stand out and get better . You see how you can be one step ahead

What trends are emerging in health/life/property insurance?Increasing frequency of claims and the amount being paid out is the challenges. Everyone sees the commercials, billboards, the radio ads of these attorneys saying they can get thousands or millions of dollars. That is a small portion of cases. As people look for these what we call nuclear judgements, understand that all these claims, someone has to pay for them and it affects your insurance rates

How do you address public misconceptions about insurance?Insurance is to make you whole again. You can take $500 and put in the bank and get $100,000 tomorrow…However in insurance it is possible. We make sure that if something happens ..you may have paid us a small amount but we are covering a large amount that most people have no access too.

What role does data analytics play in your operations?Everything…Insurance is all data driven…We look at age, driving experience, where you live, credit, driving activity. Even the type of car/boat/ motorcycle you have and its safety features can make a difference . Homes we look at how old it is, wiring, plumbing, the outside and inside materials, the age of roof. All this has been used to calculate a risk. That calculation is what determines your rate

What advice do you have for people navigating insurance for the first time? The sooner you get your driver’s license the better. Insurance companies care about the time you have had your license rather then age. When you look at a vehicle, think about how hard it will be to fix and where it has to go. Know that an older vehicle may be higher to insure as parts may not be available. If you look at a older home, realize that insurance companies also look at the chance of something happening and there being a claim. Before you sign the dotted line, call an insurance agent like myself and get a quote to make sure you can afford what you are buying as the insurance cost also needs to be a factor in your purchase
