About Key Tutoring ResourcesAt Key Tutoring Resources we specialize in dyslexic tutoring using Barton Reading and Spelling system. In addition, we offer assessments to see if your child struggles with dyslexia, assessments to determine what grade level you are on in reading and math, and tutoring for SAT, ACT and ASVAB. We have great tutors for all subjects. Offer in-person and online.

What differentiates you from the competition?The biggest difference is I know how both the parent and child feel as I struggled with dyslexia as a child and had a profoundly dyslexic child. Also, we do extras like offer fun experiences for free, like an edible science show, Animal Tales.

What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?This is just not a business for us, we see each child and their individual needs, and success for us is giving them the ability to reach their fullest potential.

If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?We are here to help support the whole family and that your child will succeed. Each child blooms at different stages and it will be ok. We are here to help.

What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?The biggest marketing challenge is that as we are successful in helping the children, we need to reach more customers to continue growing.

What challenges are educators currently facing post-pandemic? There are a lot of students that missed the core phonics to learn how to read, many kids are struggling with reading and that affects all subjects.

How do you support student engagement and well-being? We tailor our teaching to what the student needs. If they need to stand up and move around or if they struggled in an area we get extra support and time for that area. We truly understand how difficult it can be for the student, the long hours of work they endure. We also go out of our way to find what they enjoy and use that as incentives for their hard work.

How are you preparing students for a rapidly changing world? We are changing so many lives by teaching them to read, which is so important in the world we live in and also letting them know that anything you put your mind and work effort into, you can accomplish it!

Can you share an initiative that has made a real impact? Starting this business has helped so many children learn to read. That is a major initiative. So many students have graduated without the ability to read. We are changing life’s. It makes me cry every time, a 14 year old was finally able to read his birthday cards.

What’s your vision for the future of education? My vision is to let children and parents know that they can succeed, they just need that one person who truly cares and understands where they are.
