About National Alliance on Mental Illness JacksonvilleThe Mission of NAMI Jacksonville is to support and improve the quality of life for family members and those living with mental illnesses and co-occurring substance abuse through compassion, education, and advocacy. Our vision is that people with severe and persistent mental illness can recover and lead productive and meaningful lives within their community.
What differentiates you from the competition?We view all legitimate organizations in the mental health space as allies. What we offer is free support, education and advocacy using proven national programming, and delivered by local volunteers with first-hand experience with mental illness.
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?We are a non-profit offering support groups, hotline support and other resources for people living with mental illness and their loved ones, educational resources and programming for individuals and organizations, and public policy advocacy.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?Please know that mental health is health, and mental illness is illness. Be good to yourself and get the help you need. You are not alone, and there is hope.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?While the stigma of mental illness is declining, it still prevents many people from stepping forward and getting the help they need.
