Why did you choose your industry?The industry chose me, not the other way around.
Who are your typical clients?My work is based on referrals and word-of-mouth, and my clients end up being those who are specifically looking for the kind of services and skill-set I provide.
What do you like best about being in this industry?My insights and POV on the industry have evolved over the three decades I have been in it. Whereas in the earlier t=years it was the thrill of pushing boundaries in my business/cultural/creative climate, now its all about the opportunites to make a difference in the way people 9clients and practitioners) experience and benefit from the work, both at a perosnal and at a commercial level.
What are common problems you see?Superficiality and lack of authenticity.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Lean into courage and comapssion, for yourself, your teams and your brands, and things will start falling into place.
When is your busy season?My core skill-set is in demand all year around.
What keeps you up at night?joining the dots for my clients
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?LinkedIn, Instagram to reach out to specific interest groups, referrals/word-of-mouth, faith.
How involved are you in the community?Teaching, mentoring, coaching.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?recognise yourself, within: understand what drives you, your heart-led compassion, your gut-based courage and us that as the foundation of what you do.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I paint.
