Why did you choose your industry?Charities and supporting those in need is a passion of ours. It is very rewarding to know we can help so many and mentor our next generation.
Who are your typical clients?Caring for kids is our mission. However, we also believe in Caring for Own and Caring for our Communities.
What do you like best about being in this industry?That we can accomplish making the world a better place. We are passionate about helping those less fortunate. Especially kids. That we can be mentors for our next generation. We also enjoy connecting and supporting both charities and businesses. We build relationships.
What are common problems you see?Getting enough help to volunteer. Getting sponsorships in today’s market.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Never give up. Constantly connect with your resources. Think outside the box. Get creative with social media.
When is your busy season?All year. We may slow down a bit in the summer but as BFL Alumni ambassadors the demand for our presence is high.
What keeps you up at night?Making sure we have raised enough funds to execute our goals.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?By using every resources possible through our members and our community.
How involved are you in the community?Helping with kids programs. Educating and promoting health and wellness. Promoting businesses and building those partnerships.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Our very own NFL Alumni Association
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Volunteer work is challenging and rewarding at the same time. We make so many connections and it feels good when you have accomplished your goals. Always reinvent yourself. Keep it fresh for all the generations.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Dragon boating
