Why did you choose your industry?I enjoy helping others succeed and businesses grow. Their success is my success and I love being a part of that process for others.
Who are your typical clients?Home Service Contractors or Business Owners
What do you like best about being in this industry?How marketing is done is always changing, but the consumer psychology tactics that always works never does.
What are common problems you see?In marketing, everyone thinks the new trend or new platform is what's going to set them apart from everyone else. It all really comes down to compelling storytelling and highlighting the value that you offer, not your features.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Don't be like everyone else. Most businesses do what everyone else is doing, so they blend in and don't stand out. The whole point of marketing/advertising your business is to show how you are different!
When is your busy season?All year
What keeps you up at night?The fact that most businesses copy the efforts of other similar businesses thinking that will benefit them
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?Organic content, blogs, and ads
How involved are you in the community?I've mentored several up-and-coming marketers, I serve on marketing boards and communities to help educate the next generation of marketers and prepare them for the marketing/advertising world.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Gamers For Giving
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Get a solid understanding of consumer psychology. Understand what drives people to make purchasing decisions and then figure out how you can tell a compelling & enticing story they can relate to that may get them to buy your product/service.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Spending time with my family
