Why did you choose your industry?I love to help people and to see businesses grow. By marketing, I can help businesses reach their revenue goals and then in the same process help people (their clients) get the solution they have need of.
Who are your typical clients?CEO's and Business Owners who have at least 10 years experience and 10 or more employees and are ready to take their business to the next level. Typically, local home service companies or construction companies.
What do you like best about being in this industry?The ability to see multiple businesses grow.
What are common problems you see?Owners who do not know how to market their service and dominate the marketplace with their products. They need a guiding hand.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Set aside a % of all business sales that goes towards marketing your business. 5%-10% is typical with what we have seen. Be EVERYWHERE online.Outline your client avatar.
When is your busy season?Probably Spring-Summer as businesses are cranking up yearly goals.
What keeps you up at night?Client needs that need fulfillment or creating a brand new marketing idea for a client.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?We push for referrals from existing clients. We are active on Facebook and do our own SEO.
How involved are you in the community?Very involved in my local church as well as the local Chamber of Commerce.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?I love to give to my local church.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Be a student all the time. Surround yourself with at least 3 business owners who do the same thing to get their counsel.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Playing baseball, spending time with my family.
