How long have you been in your industry?25 Years
Why did you choose your industry?I’ve always been drawn to marketing because it’s the perfect mix of creativity and strategy. There’s something invigorating about finding the right words and visuals that truly connect with people. It’s about helping businesses tell their story in a way that resonates and inspires, and that challenge never gets old.
Who are your typical clients?I usually work with small to medium-sized businesses that are ready to grow but might not know exactly how to get there. They’re looking for a partner to bring clarity, focus, and a fresh perspective. I also love working with startups—it’s exciting to be part of building something from the ground up.
What do you like best about being in this industry?Marketing is always changing, and I thrive on that energy. There’s always a new trend to explore or a fresh idea to try out. But what I love most is seeing the real impact—when a campaign clicks and a client sees their business grow, that’s a great feeling.
What are common problems you see?One big challenge is that a lot of businesses treat marketing as an afterthought. They jump in without a plan or try to copy what others are doing, and they lose their own voice in the process. I always remind clients: marketing isn’t just about making noise—it’s about making an impact.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Stay true to your brand and your story. Don’t get distracted by every new trend—focus on what really sets you apart. And always remember: marketing is an investment, not an expense. It should work as hard for you as you do for your business.
When is your busy season? We stay pretty steady year-round, but things usually pick up in the spring and fall. Those are times when a lot of businesses want to shake things up—new campaigns, new goals, fresh starts.
What keeps you up at night?Making sure I’m giving clients the best possible guidance and staying ahead of the curve. Marketing is always moving, and I want to make sure my clients are right there with it, not left behind.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?I believe in practicing what I preach: sharing insights through content, building relationships on social media, and getting out into the community to meet people face to face. Happy clients are also the best marketing—I love seeing them recommend us because they trust the work we do.
How involved are you in the community?I’ve always believed in giving back to the community that supports us. I’ve served on several boards for the City of Wylie and am currently beginning my second term on the Planning and Zoning Commission. It’s rewarding work—shaping the future of our city and making sure it remains a great place to live and work. I also enjoy mentoring young professionals and staying connected with local business g
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?I have been part of Gideons International in the past and love the passion of the organization
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Be ready to learn every single day. Marketing is never static, so stay curious and open to new ideas. And don’t be afraid to take risks—sometimes the boldest ideas are the ones that get the most traction.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I’ve been described as a history buff, news junkie, sports junkie, and coffee enthusiast all rolled up in one. I love exploring the past, staying current with what’s happening today, and talking sports with anyone who’ll listen. I’m also always on the hunt for the next great cup of coffee. It’s a blend of passions that keeps me curious, energized, and ready to tackle whatever comes next.
