How long have you been in your industry?20+
Why did you choose your industry? Is there any education or curiosity better than vitality and longevity for the machine you have to live on for the rest of your life? To be fortunate enough for that to be my profession is a gift.
Who are your typical clients?Humans.
What do you like best about being in this industry?Being able to experience the vast spectrum of human existence through infinite perspectives on a daily basis from unfiltered vulnerable conversations makes this the best. Everyday I get a new education in people and have my opinions change and challenged regularly. One of the greatest paths to wisdom and seeking understanding is through these conversations I have with people everyday.
What are common problems you see?People complicating their own wellness and vitality through their own perceived ignorance when truthfully they know what they need to do to take care of themselves but don’t because of the responsibility it bares of being in full control of the success but more importantly the failures that come with intelectual accountability as it pertains to one’s health.
What advice/tips do you have for clients? You don’t need me or need to be an expert in the vast context of health and wellness. However, you do need to become more of an expert in who you are and what you are and why. That will give you greater success in anything pertaining to your health.
When is your busy season?Whenever humans think too much
What keeps you up at night? How to become less needed in this profession.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?Being honest and kind with each genuine interaction I have with people both in person and on the internet.
How involved are you in the community? We are the community. Staying available so we can teach others to stay available is our contribution.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Don’t have a favorite but we’ve worked with the crisis nursery a few times in Minneapolis and their great.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Don’t seek recognition it will kill your growth and character as a person and professional.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Being available and present with my family. Proving to myself I know nothing.
