Why did you choose your industry?I believe in education and enjoy the collegiate experience. I believe education at all levels needs to be strength of our country.
Who are your typical clients?18-22 year olds, adult learners, parents, community influencers, high school professional counselors & teachers
What do you like best about being in this industry?That we are providing individuals to gain knowledge and experience to assist them in identifying a career and mobility. The United States has lost ground in a variety of categories but none more so than education.
What are common problems you see?Media dictates the the impressions of education. They sensationalize the weaknesses and ignore the positives. True lack of knowledge about the importance of education. The dumbing down of our country. That the investment in education by individuals or society is a negative since it appreciated over a lifetime.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?To take aptitude tests to help determine what your passionate about. Learn about educational opportunities available to you personally and don’t rely on the media.
When is your busy season?Feburary to November
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?Digital Marketing, Direct Mail, social media, OTT, site marketing, market analysis, influencers and customer references
How involved are you in the community?I have served as President of Chamber of Commerce, American Heart Association and Boys & Girls Club in various communities I’ve lived and on several boards.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?American Heart Association
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Gain knowledge and experience of the field through volunteerism, ask questions and do you’re homework
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I love to travel and have been to 25 countries. I enjoy amateur sports and have attended 5 Final Fours
