How long have you been in your industry?15 years
Why did you choose your industry?I didn’t really choose this industry—it chose me. My passion for people and my deep desire to bring healthcare back to true patient care led me here. I saw the gaps, the frustrations, and the need for real support in revenue cycle management, and I knew I could make a difference. Helping providers focus on care while ensuring financial sustainability is my mission, and that’s what drives me every day.
Who are your typical clients? Our typical clients are independent medical practices, healthcare providers, and organizations looking to streamline their revenue cycle management. We help improve billing efficiency and maximize reimbursements to allow focus on patient care without the stress of administrative burdens. We also assist individuals navigating health insurance to ensure they get the coverage they need.
What do you like best about being in this industry?I love being in this industry because it allows me to make a real impact—helping providers get paid for their work so they can focus on patient care. Navigating the complexities of healthcare billing and insurance can be challenging, but knowing that Reliant Management helps practices thrive and patients receive the care they need makes it all worthwhile.
What are common problems you see?One of the biggest challenges in revenue cycle management is the lack of transparency and efficiency in billing processes. Many practices struggle with denied claims, delayed reimbursements, and keeping up with ever-changing regulations. At Reliant Management, we bridge these gaps by streamlining operations, ensuring accurate billing, and helping providers focus on what truly matters.
What advice/tips do you have for clients? At Reliant Management, we believe in the power of proactive planning and clear communication. My advice to clients is to stay informed about their revenue cycle, ask questions, and never underestimate the value of strategic partnerships. Success in healthcare management isn’t just about numbers—it’s about people. Focus on building strong relationships with your team, patients, and partners, and always be open to learning and adapting. Sustainable growth comes from consistency, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
When is your busy season?Every season is a busy season because reclaiming patient care doesn't follow a calendar, it's a year-round commitment. Whether it's open enrollment, billing cycles, or patient advocacy, our work is ongoing.
What keeps you up at night? What keeps me up at night is making sure Reliant Management truly makes a difference—helping healthcare providers get paid fairly while ensuring patients receive the care they need. Balancing impact, growth, and sustainability is always on my mind, but the mission keeps me going.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?By building genuine relationships, leveraging community partnerships, and consistently sharing valuable insights on social media. Word-of-mouth and networking are key, along with educating clients on how we simplify healthcare revenue management. Staying visible, engaged, and solution-focused helps us grow while making a real impact.
How involved are you in the community?I’m deeply involved in the community through advocacy, education, and partnerships. From hosting wellness seminars and open enrollment fairs to collaborating with local businesses and nonprofits, I strive to bridge gaps in healthcare access. By supporting small businesses and volunteering, I’m committed to making a lasting impact where it matters most.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity? One nonprofit close to my heart is Pink Ribbon Blue Skies. Their dedication to supporting breast and prostate cancer survivors with real, meaningful resources aligns with my passion for community wellness. They don’t just offer help—they create a network of care, advocacy, and hope.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Build strong relationships, stay adaptable, and never stop learning. Healthcare revenue cycle management is complex, but success comes from understanding the needs of providers and patients alike. Focus on service, integrity, and continuous improvement—your impact will follow.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?In my free time, I love exploring new places with my son and Godsons, diving into a good book, and finding ways to give back to my community. Whether it's connecting with like-minded entrepreneurs or simply enjoying a quiet moment, I cherish the balance between growth, purpose, and personal time.
